Profiles
 |
George Spencer - Tenor
George (Georgina) first sang barbershop in the early 90's
when she was living in Wagga Wagga NSW. After several moves, she
finally settled in Canberra in 2005 and immediately joined
Brindabella Chorus. George is the newest member of the quartet,
joining us in 2007. Originally a baritone, she is now enjoying
the challenge of learning to sing high! |
 |
Jennifer Lloyd - Lead
Jennifer has always enjoyed
music and singing. She comes from a musical family, with family members
playing a variety of instruments including piano, guitar, violin,
trombone, cello and flute. Jennifer joined
Brindabella Chorus in August
2000, just looking for some fun group singing. She was bitten by the
quartet bug after watching a national quartet contest in June 2002. |
 |
Tanya Kavanagh - Baritone
Tanya has always
loved singing, but never did it with much purpose until she joined
Brindabella Chorus in 1999. Having found her musical home, she soon
realised she also wanted to sing in a quartet. She has been singing with
Synchronicity since 2002 and is loving every minute of it.

Glenda Lloyd - Bass
Glenda started
singing at about the same time she learned to talk and her family have
not had a moment's peace since. She learned recorder, trumpet and organ as
a child, taught herself to play piano and guitar (badly) and appeared in
school musicals and drama productions. Glenda has been the musical director of
Brindabella Chorus since 1992. She has sung in several
quartets, made radio commericals, briefly fronted a country band and occasionally still
moonlights as a karaoke host. Glenda is a member of the Education Faculty of the
Southern Cross Region of
Sweet Adelines International and regularly coaches
choruses and quartets around Australia
